Overview
Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused (or slightly used) and in the same condition that you received it. It must be in a resaleable condition.
Non-returnable items:
- Downloadable software products
- Sale items listed AS-IS
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to us without prior approval. Contact us first to start the process at info@all-about-the-details.com and describe your issue and how you would like it resolved (return & refund or return & exchange).
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
- Books with obvious signs of use
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged, written in, or missing pages for reasons not due to our error.
Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded or exchanged. Sale items listed AS-IS cannot be refunded or exchanged.

If you are returning items within the US, we strongly recommend USPS Media Mail. You’ll have to complete this at the Post Office as you can’t purchase shipping labels online for this service. However, this is absolutely the most economical way to send a trackable shipment back to us. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item if using a non-trackable shipping service. Please forward us any tracking information.
Exchanges
Determining who pays for the return shipping comes down to a simple formula. If you had a change of mind about your purchase (or want a different format like paperback, hardcover, or eBook, for example), then you will be responsible for return shipping (both ways). If the item was damaged or defective upon delivery, then we will gladly replace the item and cover return shipping (both ways). If you need to exchange an item, start by sending us an email at info@all-about-the-details.com and prepare your item for a return shipment. If we cover shipping, we will email you a pre-paid shipping label to print.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
Refunds
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are also non-refundable from the original order.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval, partial approval, or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company or bank, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next, look for statements that appear as “ALL-ABOUT-THE-DETAILS”. This is how our business should appear.
