Are you surviving the polar vortex? ❄ I’ll tell you what’s keeping me busy this winter (besides writing this book) – “Redesigning my roads!”  As if converting to MILS plates wasn’t enough headache, I began examining my own City traffic lights.  Here’s a four-way stop I designed recently for the upcoming book, Around Town.
The design is repeatable.  It’s simply 4x the models below (one on each side and corner).  The “dual” stoplight is an optional turn lane.

I haven’t made instructions yet, but the Bricklink Stud.io file is available on my Google Drive for you to play around with or build in your own City. I’d love your feedback!  If you think “This looks awesome!”, “Interesting!”, or even “What the heck?!”, I’d like to hear it.  This is your exclusive chance to help shape some content and offer feedback, suggestions, or wish-lists. 🙋

This has been postponed until ~April.  The Bricks & Minifigs (BAMS) shop owner really wants to ensure this goes off without a hitch, so if you’re in the area and were planning to attend, stay tuned (at least until it warms up a little)!

I envision waiting for Around Town to come out must be like waiting for a bus.  You never really know when it’ll show up!  So, I made a little graphic to at least guide us on the route it’ll take.  I hope you enjoy watching its progress as much as I do.  And in the meantime, enjoy this sweet track I found from ZZ Top.
